The escape shuttle was ejected into space in the middle of a field of debris, escaping the main ship a few seconds before the reactors exploded in a powerful blast, only to face more danger as the small vessel was threatened by lighting fast shrapnels of scrap metal and other remnants of the space battle. Their pilot, not breaking a sweat, simply smirked before taking manual control over the shuttle, thumbling and dodging with ice cold expertise until they all were flying away from the danger zone without a single scratch. The pilot turned on his seat to face his passengers, a cocky smile on his lips "Don't everybody thank me at once."
